Promise?

I have a gift for you, it's in poor condition.
I know it's not much, but it would mean a lot to me if you would have it.
It has its flaws, but so does everyone else's.
Also, I have a few things to tell you before I hand it over:

1. It holds the pain of my past, present, and heaven forbid my future.

2. It's fragile, so be careful.

3. Treat it as if it was your own.

4. Tender loving care and patience is a must when dealing with it.

If my request is too troublesome or selfish for you, I'll understand, but do you mind letting me know beforehand?
It's really a pain having to fix.
